Angry Mourners Kill 6 Men For Attending Businessman’s Burial

Busia County police have launched an investigation into the incident where 6 men were murdered by angry mourners after attending the burial of a murdered businessman.

Angry mourners have turned against 6 men who appeared at the funeral of a businessman who was murdered at Butula Market in Busia County 2 weeks ago.

The Busia County Commissioner Mr Narengo Jacob confirmed the incident and said police has launched investigations into the matter.

It is alleged that the angry mourners became dubious after the 6 totally failed to describe their relationship with the murdered businessman, before directing a blame on them for being among the mob that killed him 2 weeks earlier.

According to the administrator, the crowd suspected that these six men must have been linked to the group that murdered him, and soon after that, they stoned them to death.

I urge Kenyan people to avoid involving themselves in such deadly actions and I also ask members of public to avoid acting violently, ‘he said.

Security agencies were put in place to deal with any kind of suspected criminality, ‘he added.
