3000 Graduate At Kampala International University

Government has offered to support Kampala International University to realize its dream of becoming the best private university in the region training science professionals.

Presiding over the 21st graduation ceremony, Mary OKurut applauded the University proprietors and management for supplementing government programme of science education and teaching cutting edge course that relevant to the job market.

“Kiu has established science and technology niche hence government is willing to facilitate the whole process including registration of its science courses to speed up programmes implementation,” OKurut said.

At least 3000 graduands received their degrees and masters in various discipline at Kampala International University 21st graduation ceremony.

She appreciated KIU for starting dental surgery training course saying this will increase on human resource needed in the country to provide dental services.

“I wish to appreciate Kampala International University for thinking about dental surgery. It’s the most critical area that government lacks most human resource to handle dental services as the country grapples with less dental officers,” OKurut explained.

Hon Kasozi Ibrahim member of Parliament for Maindye West advised the graduates to avoid living risky lives and engage in development projects to supplement parents roles.

” The parents have invested in you heavily and its your turn to support them to handle other pressing family needs like taking care of your siblings, ” Kasozi said.

Kasozi  graduated with bachelors degree in law. The legislator who was overjoyed pledge to use his qualification to defense the rights of vulnerable groups including democracy.
