Beenie Gunter Likely To Face Jail Time In Abu Dhabi

Singer Beenie Gunter is in trouble in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as he is likely to be jailed. This is happening after he apparently had a scuffle with the promoters who had booked him to perform there last week.

Rumors have it that he was arrested by authorities at DXB airport in Dubai. This was as he was on his way back to Uganda after the performance.

Beenie Gunter was formerly managed by Talent Africa but he now handles his business himself. He traveled with his girlfriend to that show.

His team said they are trying so hard to make sure he gets out of detention. However, they are asking for help from his fellow musicians to help through their social media platforms by posting about it so that he can finally be free.

Unfortunately, artists are not even posting anything about him. A few who have tried have posted him once have stopped.

According to a blogger in Dubai known as Vibes Ug, if Ugandans don’t fight for the freedom of Beenie Gunter, he might be jailed for close to two years.

He asked Ugandans to make noise on social media. This is such that authorities could easily understand that Beenie Gunter needed to be set free.

“If you can do something about Beenie Gunter’s situation, it should be now or else he may face jail time for close to two years,” Vibes Ug posted.
