Bobi Wine Condoles With Davido Over Loss Of His Son

Singer-turned-politician, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, has come out to post a condolence message and mourn with Nigerian singer, Davido over the loss of his son. His message was to both the If singer and his wife Chioma.

He prayed for God’s strength of comfort towards the couple in this trying time.

“My deepest condolences to you @davido and your dear wife upon the loss of your baby. May God give you the strength to pull through this painful period.”

It has now been confirmed that the Nigerian singer together with his wife lost their son, Ifeanyi aged 3. Ifeanyi died as a result of drowning in a swimming pool. This was at Davido’s home in the Banana Island.

He had reportedly together with his wife traveled to Lagos for a family meeting. It’s not clear how Ifeanyi who was left in the company of his caretakers ended up drowning in the pool. This is because the door to the swimming pool is made of steel and is heavy.

Police confirmed that about 8 people at the singer’s home were picked up for questioning. These have been accused of negligence by social media users.

A number of high-ranking dignitaries across the world have already come out to post their condolence messages to the singer and his family.

It’s further reported that Davido is at his father’s house and heavily heartbroken.
