The politician took to his Facebook page to post a photo of him alongside some NUP officials at their Kamwokya headquarters captioning it “Missed you so much.”
Kyagulanyi has been out of the country for about a month and a half in what was described as work trip by NUP.
His overseas stay was supposed to last three weeks and end on the 10th of July. However, they postponed it for almost a month over unclear reasons.
In his absence, Manjiya county Mp Hon John Baptist Nambeshe had taken over as the acting party president.
Kyagulanyi met a lot of influential figures while in the US both in the entertainment and political circles.
Apparently, he signed a $6M dollar deal with American superstar Will Smith for a movie and book gig.
A lot of rumors sprang up especially from his critics saying that he has been meeting his gay funders.
Unverified tweets from the LGBTQI community surfaced a few weeks ago rallying for Kyagulanyi’s support in his human rights and political activism in Uganda.
While in the United States, Kyagulanyi has also been noticing what’s happening back in the Pearl.
He at one time criticized musicians for leaving as beggars. This is after going to Gulu for financial assistance from Gen Salim Saleh.
Kyagulanyi also returns at a time when NUP propagandist Fred Lumbuye is facing criminal charges from government. He will face a number of charges that government might slap on him.
