Bombardier Officially Hands Over Two Uganda Airlines Passenger Aircrafts

The Canadian Aircraft manufacturer, Bombardier has officially handed over the first two Uganda Airlines passenger planes CRJ900 to Uganda, an event that took place in Mirabel, Quebec Canada.

The one hour handover ceremony of the two CRJ900 passenger Aircrafts to the East African country was held in Canada’s French speaking province known as Quebec, which sits on St. Lawrence river.

The Uganda Airlines Aircrafts were officially handed over to the Ugandan representatives headed by the minister of Works and Transport, Hon Ntege Azuba Monica on Tuesday night, 16th April 2019.

Azuba Monica and her team arrived in Quebec on 14th April and were received by Uganda High Commissioner to Canada, Hon Acheng Joy Ruth.

The mission of the Ugandan representatives was specifically to receive two brand new Uganda Airlines CRJ900 planes from the Canadian Aircraft manufacturer, Bombardier.

Civil Aviation Authority has successfully registered both Aircrafts as 5Xequ and 5Xkob.
