Ssali who has spent the majority of his career working in the US graduated from the University of California with a doctorate in cross – Cultural communication and history.
For those who are not well acquainted with Ssali, he was one of the voices that used to read news at 6 am that air on Capital radio Uganda.
Ssali had gone on to cultivate a name for himself in the news industry before deciding to quit. He has also interviewed leaders and iconic celebrities across the world. He has also won numerous awards including a United Nations peacekeeping special Achievement and Best Journalist Award.
Ssali will turn his attention onto motivational speaking to empower young people during his retirement.
Apparently, Shaka Ssali will retire to his home town of Kabale as he figures his next step in his retirement life.
