It should be noted that Weasel formed a super duo with the late Mowzey Radio. The two released hit after hit and were a force to reckon with in their heydays. Even up to now, their music is still food to the ears of many.
However, since the demise of Radio, Weasel’s music career fell off. He tried to make a few songs here and there but these didn’t get good reception.
According to Andre, he started following the duo when he was still a teenager. Apparently, he watched how they would perform on stage and Radio would run out of breath but Weasel would back him and kept going.
The Fertilizer singer also added that the surviving Goodlyf singer is a hybrid of Jamaican music icons Buju Banton and Bounty Killer.
He added that praise usually went to Radio but his rugged rough-voiced partner was equally impressive. It’s for this matter that he thinks Weasel is more talented than his siblings who have very successful solo careers.
“Weasel falls in the category of Bebe Cool. I think he’s very talented than his brothers. Even when Radio was still alive, it was he who got more of the credit. Many overlooked Weasel but he’s got a mixture of Bounty Killer and Buju Banton in him,” said Daddy Andre.
Meanwhile, Weasel has been involved in a lot of controversies since his singing mate Radio died. These have been more of violence and getting naughty with his brothers by kissing them.
