While my age mates were busy studying and graduating, I was busy working in the fields, looking after cattle and plaughing.
My peers started working as teachers, nurses, drivers etc. Others got married. I remember during those days none of them bothered to know my whereabouts.
7 years later after I had completed my secondary education, I registered my company and apply all the knowledge that I learned during the time I was working doing the donkey work in the fields and in the construction industry.
Few years later my company grew and I was recognized in many platforms. Newspapers, radios and television started talking about my success. Eventually my peers started to recognize me. I have some of my school mates that are working under my company.
Remember after school these guys proceeded with education and I was very worried and regarded myself as a failure.
Don’t measure your success against progress of your peers or your neighbors. We get our breakthrough on different Timelines. What you need to do is to stop comparing yourself with others.
What you need is to focus on what you are doing and do it whole heartedly. Don’t be distracted by your peers or neighbors’ success. We receive our success on different Timelines.
There is nothing wrong to be single as long as you are happy. There is no problem not to have a car as long as you happy
It’s good to be motivated by success of your peers but don’t envy them. Don’t be jealous or feel left out. Your time will come when it is ready.
God has a Timeline that is perfect for each and every person. Be happy with your life and work hard to build something but not pressured by Timelines that are set by world standards.
