Doreen Nyanjura Hunts For Love Stricken MUK Student In Viral Mary Stuart Video

The deputy lord mayor of Kampala, Doreen Nyanjura, has taken it upon herself to look for a one Onesmus who appeared in a viral video recorded at Mary Stuart Hall at Makerere University.

Onesmus has gone viral and has been ridiculed by social media after he was seen pleading to a girl he referred to as Immy. A supposed girlfriend of his who had dumped him.

While in her hostel room, Onesmus promised Immy he would be submissive to her. He even called upon her roommates to help him convince their friend to forgive him.

She however told him that she forgave him but no longer wants him to speak to her or go to her hostel.

After this video landed on social media, Onesmus started being labeled with all kinds of insults. Nyanjura took it upon herself to look for him and have a one-on-one chat.

She said that she told Onesmus that there is nothing wrong with what he did. He should therefore ignore society’s stereotypes of men not kneeling.

According to Nyanjura, Onesmus is one of a kind. This is because he chose peace after being chucked yet some men commit suicide while others murder.

Therefore his choosing peace over extremism shows how great he is. She also implored all those ridiculing him to imagine if it was their loved ones in such a situation.

Furthermore, she asked people to be kind to him as he’s already going through the pain of being dumped.

“I have had a very beautiful afternoon with Onesmus. I have told him there is nothing wrong with loving genuinely. And I told him to ignore society’s stereotypes of men don’t kneel. For some men when chucked, they commit suicide, others murder those that chuck them, he chose peace. When rejected we all react differently; he chose peaceful means & not extremism. I told him that he was destined for greatness.”
