Dura Motors Registers Low Sales

Motor cycles sales have terribly reduced since Corona virus pandemic hit this country. Uganda’s leading motor cycle company Dura Motors managing director George Zohang zianpeng says they have registered sales drop by 90% as Ugandans are on lock down.

“Dura Motors has registered low sales and collection through it’s hire purchase scheme for our boda Boda business since Uganda recorded her Corona virus case and presidential directive on lock down.

Most of our clients have no one to purchase and pay the loan,” Zhang noted. He revealed this while handing over the company’s donation to the office of the prime minister as part of the National covid task force contribution manned by office of the prime minister.

Uganda registered her first case of Corona virus on 21st March and the number of victims has increased to 55 patients despite government intervention. Through presidential directive for the people to stay home and lock down as measure control further most businesses have been affected.

Through presidential appeal for support government has received tremendous donations and cash contribution amounting to Shs 7billion yet Mary okurut minister in office of the prime minister and minister  of health continue to urge price sector and individuals for more support to close the medical commodities gaps.
