The two musicians are widely regarded as the best in East Africa at the moment and with growing questions from fans why he didn’t feature the “Wah” hit maker, Eddy Kenzo has said that Wasafi CEO was all over the world in his music conquest and therefore had no time to link up.
Kenzo said all this while appearing on NTV Da Beat program and also talked of how he ended up working with African legends such as Kanda Bongoman and Monique Seka on the remixes of their songs that all featured on his album.
He said that many fans expected and expect him to work with Platinumz but he surely will after his collaboration with another Tanzanian singer Harmonize titled “Pull Up” became a sensation.
“Everyone expected me to have a song with Diamond Platnumz, we shall do a song together but not on this album. I believe Diamond is now everywhere and I wanted to bring something different,” Kenzo explained.
Meanwhile Eddy Kenzo has also come out to support fellow singers such as Apass who criticized some local websites that upload their music minus paying them.
This was one of the major reasons he collaborated with continental music distribution channels such as Prime Music to promote his album.
Meanwhile, many artistes dream of spending a minute with Diamond Platnumz, and in recent events, that dream came true for Uganda’s Spice Diana.
The moment the photo of the two hit the internet, the world started making assumptions. They hit on the possibility of a collaboration between the two.
