Evelyn Anite Opens Soap Factory In Koboko District

Although Evelyn Anite, State Minister for Investment and Privatization lost her Koboko Municipality parliamentary seat to Dr. Charles Ayume, she is into job and wealth creation.

Evely Anite has launched Sabuni a product from her soap factory in Koboko District.

 One time a journalist asked if she had lost an opportunity to invest in wealth creation, she quickly said that is the reason for establishing a soap factory in Koboko.

“When I lost my parliamentary seat, I thought of an alternative, and investing in a soap factory is a nice venture as an entrepreneur,”

  Anite lost her Koboko Municipality parliamentary seat to Dr. Charles Yume in the January 2021 elections.

Married to Kajik, Evelyn Anite is worth 5million dollars having invested in properties and businesses.

In seperate news previously reported by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, Uganda’s president Yoweri Museveni launched the commercial operations of Soroti Fruit Factory, which was set up by the Uganda Development Corporation (UDC) with support of the Korean government. Also launched UDC’s 10-year plan.

The trick about farming is that it must be based on “akabalo” (calculation). In Teso, people used to grow coffee and cotton on small pieces of land. You would find someone growing cotton on one acre and earning about Shs200,000 a year.
