Facebook has finally decided to open up its Internet.org platform to developers which is part of a prominent initiative to connect four billion people to access internet.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg made the announcement in a video on Monday that the company is opening up its platform to developers who are able to build and create more apps in order to support it.
The developers will be helped alot!
Earlier before, Internet.org worked with qualified partners and services such as Wikipedia, health and job sites so that people in rural areas could get some access to Internet, however, some internet users would end up buying a more premium data package.
The social network giant has joined with organisations like Samsung, Qualcomm and Microsoft to proceed with the project.
