A big thanks to Facebook

The program will help to understand what exactly users go through and employees will be compelled to use Apps like facebook messenger on a very slow internet connection every tuesday morning, when you log into the App , you will see a notification on top of your newsfeed asking you whether to try slow internet for an hour,  this 2G internet is incredibly slow in that it might take almost 2 minutes to open a page.

However, the 2G Tuesdays is opt-in and it doesnot stay on the all day, it can only stay on for just an hour period, it’s a very wonderful initiative for the social network giant to help developing markets especially rural area in India who are just about to see LTE very soon.

The company already has its internet.org program which is targeting to bring free internet connection in different parts of the world. The most remote areas without internet  connection are found in middle east and in Africa, many people in  these areas havenot even heard of “internet” they are too ignorant about it, so there’s still more to be done in order to let people know the inportance of internet.
