Footballer Michelle Alozie Asks Nigerians To Stop Discussing Her Sexuality

Nigerian female footballer Michelle Alozie has urged her fellow countrymen and women to stop discussing her sexuality. This is because there are more important things to discuss in the world than that.

The footballer aroused controversy after she posted a photo of herself and another female on her Instagram stories.

Talk started making rounds in different social media platforms that it seems she’s into women. The Super Falcons defender however took to her X page to dispell the rumors.

She clarified that she prefers guys. Later on, she added that there are more serious things to talk about than her sexual preferences.

“I like guys. lol. relax,” she earlier wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I promise you there are more important issues to discuss in the world than my sexuality,” she later added

The 26-year-old who plays for Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in the US rose to prominence in the just concluded 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup that was held in Australia.

One of her standout moments was her altercation with England’s Lauren James which earned the Englishwoman a red card.

Michelle Alozie, born in the US, was ranked as one of the most beautiful football players at that tournament.

Meanwhile, a lot of female footballers are gay and usually turn out to date their teammates. Nigerian men are now flocking her comment section to express their flattery and compliments towards her.
