His two biggest hits Eno Mic and Sunda a collaboration featuring Bobi Wine had him on the same table as the likes of Bebe Cool, Dr Jose Chameleone and Bobi Wine then. These songs got people up and grooving and they still do even up to now.
Ziggy Dee however didn’t follow up this success with the expected hit songs. Soon he became another faded singer amd disappeared off the scene.
However, while appearing on a local TV, the singer revealed why he took the foot off the gas pedal. And this was partly due to family and desire to pursue other preferences.
“I decided to take a stance away from mainstream music to focus on other things. I’m now an artiste that does painting. Besides family also took the better of me and I had to give them more of my time. However I still do music and a lot of projects are on my social media channels,” the singer said.
Ziggy Dee took a break away too from Uganda to South Africa then to Tanzania and back to Uganda.
He resurfaced about a year ago and ventured into politics having been inspired by Bobi Wine. This did not yield positive results as he lost in his quest for councillorship in Makindye.
