3 Family Members Attacked And Killed By Gunmen

Gunmen attacked a certain family in Aloi Sub-County, Okut village in Alebtong district on Wednesday and instantly killed three family members.

The incident happened on Wednesday at around 8:40pm, according to Mr Mudong Ongom David, the North Kyoga Regional Police Spokesperson.

Mr Ongom David however said he reached at the scene of crime and confirmed that indeed 3 family members were instantly killed and he promised to give out more details after the Police investigation is done.

The victims were identified as Okello Emmy, his pregnant wife by the names of Arao Betty and Okello Elvis, their ten year old son, according to Daily Monitor.

The Aloi Sub-County chairman, Mr Odong Boniface said the Gombolola Internal Security Officer informed him about the incident.

Mr Boniface however confirmed that one child survived.

The survivor is the little boy whom the gunmen thought was among those they shot, but he escaped after seeing his parents being killed,’’said Mr Boniface.
