The new motor bike has already been named ‘’Nantameggwa’’ because of it’s strong engine and durability made specifically for sub-Saharan Africa targeting growing motorcycle markets.
During the launch of this new strong Honda motor bike, Mr Nguegan Christian, the head of export for Honda said it really took a long process and a huge investment to finally come up with this newly designed motor bike which greatly fits the sub-Saharan terrain road.
The giant car maker, decided to make an affordable and durable motor bike which could fit Africa needs and yet it gives a remarkable performance.
The Japanese company is well-known for manufacturing vehicles, generators, boats and other equipments, it hasn’t manufactured motor bikes for huge market in Africa before. The motorcycle market has been influenced by motor bikes from different companies such as Bajaj, Senke and others.
Despite being already popular in other African regions like Nigeria where motorcycle market is massive, the company is looking forward to bringing the Ace110 MODEL to the Uganda motor bike market to be easily chosen by Boda boda riders across the country.
Currently, the Ace110 model goes for Shs4,995,000/= throughout the annual promotion, but it will laterally increase to Shs5,735,000/= and customers will be given a warranty of 24,000km of use.
