None of us wants to think that they are wasting time with anyone because it can’t be retrieved once spent.
Where should the focus be though, is it the time or the relationship? What is the use of holding on to a relationship because you have been there too long and yet you’re not happy in it. Obviously, it will hurt to move on from something that seemed as though was going to last to the end.
Certain times, it takes us that long to realize we just can’t settle with someone.
It’s always important to spend enough time together before saying I Do. However, enough time is just not defined. Some people can date for seven years only to break up at the end and yet others can spend a year and it leads to marriage.
So what do we say, is it the time or the connection between the two people. Some people can meet just a few months and it feels like they have known each other their whole lives.
If at any time you’re in doubt of something you have been in for a while, its only right to take a step back and contemplate on whether this is truly the person you want to be with. Let’s learn to always evaluate every step before getting to the big question.
Don’t marry for the sake of being married, don’t relate for the sake of being together, there must be results to show for it.
