I Will Reward You With Brand New Car – Elite High School HM Motivates His S.6 Students

Like many others, Elite High School headteacher has also realized that there it’s no secret that rewards are some of the best motivational tools for people to perform excellently. Especially when it comes to big rewards like cars.

Well, that’s what Elite High School Form 6 students are about to earn themselves. This is after their head teacher Mr. Onyango Lawrence promised to reward all best-performing students.

During the school’s recently concluded Prom party, Mr. Onyango said that all students who score 20 points will be given a brand-new car

“If you get 20 points in UACE, I’ll reward you with a brand new car”. Mr. Onyango Lawrence told his senior 6 candidates.

This is not a new phenomenon in motivating learners in the country. The practice was very common with the late entrepreneur and educationist, Dr Lawrence Mukiibi under his St Lawrence Schools.

He used to gift all the best-performing students with cars. Seems like there is a common similarity between the Lawrences in rewarding their learners with cars for excellent performances.

Not forgetting Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa too of St Mary’s Kitende. His school also rewards the best performers.

Well for Elite High School, the performances might go a long way in promoting the school as it’s not so known.

If this promise doesn’t go a long way in motivating these learners to give their all in the UNEB exams beginning in November, then surely something will be wrong with them.
