During his latest interview, Dr. Hilderman revealed that he will continue doing his music and performances. He however said he won’t do it frequently as it has been in the past.
“My goal is going to be to bring up another Hilderman from Mawokota. I’m going to groom another musician who can be just like me and that person should be from my constituency,” he said.
The ‘Abita Ebikutte’ Hit maker also said he will serve for only two terms.
Was accused of abandoning NUP
In September last year, the singer was accused of abandoning National Unity Platform (NUP) for the ruling party NRM. He was rumored to have landed a mega political deal in NRM which made him to dump Bobi Wine’s NUP.
He finally came out and trashed all the allegations saying he cannot quit NUP.
Meanwhile, Forum For Democratic Change’s Erias Lukwago was reelected as Kampala Lord Mayor. This is his 3rd term in the office. Erias Lukwago was able to win against his competitor Nabilah Naggayi Sempala who was the NUP flag bearer.
