It’s Actually Fine To Lose Some People As You Soar Higher

Don’t be afraid of losing some people as you soar higher in life. Most of the times it’s actually entirely out of your control. With every level you go to in life, you may find that certain people just don’t match up anymore. This may not be your intention at all but values just change. Some people are simply with us for a season. Immediately after their job is done, they have to go.

Not everyone in your life is to stay in it forever. This is something you should understand as a person. Make sure you reach a point in life when you know who is meant to stay and who is there for just a season. Many times as we soar higher in life, we just can’t remain with certain people. At that point, they may just drag you down with them.

What happens if you let seasonal friends stay longer in your life?

If you insist on staying with them, chances are that you will get frustrated. They may feel insecure about your soaring and yet they are not moving an inch. It becomes so easy to take offences on their part because they think you’re showing off. Have the mind to determine who is worth your time and who actually is wasting your time.

It is very fine to lose people from your life. Not that you shouldn’t talk to them, but they shouldn’t take much of your time. This may even just happen automatically. If anyone goes off your friend list by nature, don’t fight hard to make them stay, let them go.

Sometimes the higher you go in life, the smaller your circle gets because not so many people will understand you. You’re not being a bad person but this is simply how life is at times. Make sure you know the kind of people you need and those who are there for a season.
