Ugandans best female artiste, Juliana Kanyomozi who returned to active musician is flying higher. With her new songs receiving massive air play on radio and television, the super star has also gained brand endorsements.

One such is Mestil Hotel that recently signed her as their brand ambassador to market their hotel in Uganda and across the region.
Juliana has featured as brand ambassador for many corporate companies before she too long live in music including Mtn, Unilever among others.
Juliana’s Kanyomozi ‘s Music career
Juliana rose to fame in the late 1990s as one half of the all- girl duo I-Jay, with IrynNamubiru. The group’s single titled Vive la Vie was a popular record on Ugandan radio stations at that time. After the duo disbanded, Juliana launched a solo career.
Juliana Kanyomozi has also collaborated with Bobi Wine on songs such as: “TaataWaBaanaYaani?” (Who is the Fa- ther of the Kids?) and “MaamaMbiire”. She worked with Sweet Kid on the track “SirinaayoMulala” (I don’t have anyone else) and with KlearKut on the song “All I Wanna Know”. At one time, Juliana hosted a morn- ing radio program on Capital FM Radio in Kampala, the capital of Uganda and the largest city in that country.
More recently, she has performed with Tanzanian artist, Bushoke on “UsiendeMbali” (Do not go far). She has won and been nominated for numerous music awards such as the prestigious HiPipo Music Awards, PAM, Kisima and Befta among others. In 2008, Juliana was voted “Uganda’s Fashion Icon”.
Juliana Kanyomozi was the first female musician to win the Pearl of Africa Music Awards (PAM Awards) ‘Artist of the Year’ accolade. In 2008, she made her film debut in Henry Ssali’s Ki- wani: The Movie. She still holds the record of having won the Artist of the year award for the two consecutive years 2008 and 2009.
In 2009, she was one of the three judges at the Tusker Project Fame, an East African talent show. Also in 2009, she worked on her new al- bum, which includes the single “Kantambule”. In March 2014, she signed with international Cosmetics Company Oriflame to be one of their East African brand ambassadors together with Lady JayDee of Tanzania and Jamila Mbugua of Kenya.
