In a bid to provide basic needs to ghetto people around Kampala during this corona pandemic, aspiring Kampala Woman Member of Parliament, Hajjati Nambi Faridah in partnership with ghetto slum leaders are set to provide free food, sanitizers and washing soap as corona prevention measures continues.
According to Nambi Faridah this ghetto initiative will be spearheaded by her Nongovernmental organization code named Nambi Children’s Initiative around market zones such as Kasokoso, Kamwokya, Katanga area, Mengo Kisenyi and Banda.
Nambi daughter of NRM Chairman Moses Kigongo declared her intention to stand for woman member of parliament for Kampala in the forth coming 2021 general elections.
Nambi an advocate for women’s rights is meeting opposition politicians around kampala namely Bobi wine, Nobert Mao, President Yoweri Museveni and corporate companies to launch this ghetto corona relief drive to deliver service and support for the slum dwellers currently locked up at home without work.
Nambi who owns Uganda Muslim women organization and Crisis Resolution Training Centre has been in civil society fraternity for the last 15 years providing Psychosocial support to the vulnerable women and schools fees to the orphans in Makindye Division.
