A number of musicians especially those leaning towards the former presidential candidate’s political side took to a meeting with him.
This meeting took place at his home in Magere over the weekend and the artists talked about a number of things.
Some of the notable attendees included Apass, Nina Roz, Irene Namatovu, Kabako, Nubian Li, Daxx Vibes, Zex Bilangi langi Tuff B among others.
Taking to her Facebooked page, Karole Kasita said they had learnt a lot of things from the ghetto gladiator.
“Bobi Wine talked to us about selfishness and humbleness. I learnt a couple of things.” Karole Kasita posted on her Facebook page.
Bobi Wine’s meeting resembled the one another section of musicians recently had in Gulu. This was a meeting that the Firebase Crew president came out and criticised vehemently.
He labeled all those who had attended it as beggars and against the will of the people.
Bobi Wine has also been criticised in the past few days by a number of people. They also accuse the “Bada” singer of being selfish and collecting money from his Western funders which he chews alone.
They went ahead to say that if Bobi Wine cared about any of them, he would have looked for a way to bail them out.
This is due to the fact that musicians have been out of work for two years and majority have no alternative source of income.
It’s not yet clear what the select group of musicians talked about in detail. Some journalists were denied access to the premises.
