Kasuku Apologizes After Tamale Mirundi Compared The Kabaka To A Rat

Media personality Isaac Katende aka Kasuku has come out to apologize over the awful remarks made by Tamale Mirundi about the Kabaka of Buganda. Through Kasuku’s YouTube program of Animal Farm, Mirundi ran riot.

Tamale Mirundi pulled out a newspaper which had the Kabaka’s picture. The Kabaka looked to be critically ill as has always been the rumors.

He then said that the lion (empologoma) was now looking like a rat. This therefore means that God is trying to show the country his power.

He further laughed so hard at Kabaka Mutebi’s picture of how it was so funny.

The political analyst however blamed the Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga. According to Mirundi, Kabaka and Mayiga have the same woman they share. Mayiga therefore decided that poisoning the Kabaka and making him weak was the best option.

He went on to talk more scornful remarks without showing any remorse. Kasuku meanwhile didn’t intercept or edit this clip out and just let him go on. However, this obviously didn’t sit down with many Ugandans especially staunch Baganda.

Kasuku therefore came out in an interview and revealed that he had been approached by many people about this program that aired.

He said that he was sorry for having the views go online via his YouTube channel. However these were views of Tamale Mirundi and not he as Kasuku.

He also feels that he should have interjected Mirundi’s derogatory words and stopped him there and then.

It’s not clear if the former presidential secretary will come out and apologize on his own. Many didn’t expect an educated Muganda man like him to mock their traditional leader.

This is not the first time that Mirundi is expressing such controversial views.
