Police In Kenya Shot Dead Two Robbers After Robbing Nigerian Citizen

Police in Kenya shot two suspected robbers in Kenya’s administrative region Kilimani on Monday after they robbed a Nigerian citizen.

The Nigerian man identified as Gbengaof Taiwo reported to Kileleshwa Police Station saying he has been robbed by 4 armed men who departed very quickly in a saloon car (white in color) registration number KCB 567B.

While i was walking along Makueni road, i was approached aggressively before being robbed two smartphones, alien card, a wrist watch, and a wallet which had my driving license, special pass clearance and his bank cards as well as a very expensive wedding ring,’he told Police.

The special Crime Prevention Unit (SCPU) together with Police officers from Kileleshwa were dispatched and managed to detect the so called saloon car along Nyando road.

The battle left two suspected robbers shot as they tried to escape.

The police were able to recover a number of things including pistol, shot gun, four master keys, wrist watch, two smart phones etc.

The two bodies were driven to city mortuary for recognition.
