Although he managed to study hard and got a diploma and six degrees, the Kenyan politician still was unable to find a job in Kenya.
Dr Reuben, who holds a diploma from Makerere University in Uganda and 6 degrees from Greece in Europe, was blocked from running for presidency by the non operational Kenya Electoral Commission in both 1997 and 2002 general elections.
After trying his lack and failed, the leader of Kenya Republican Reformation Party tried to secure himself a job, but in vain.
Some of his educational qualifications include Diploma in Theology, Degree of Law and 2 Bachelor of Education degrees, one in Science and another in Arts.
According to his family, he was blocked from practicing Law in Kenya because he did not graduate from Kenya School of Law.
Dr Reuben, who wanted to contest against president Arap Moi and Mwai Kibaki by then, was blocked simply because he didn’t have what it takes to run for presidency.
His son Mr Lihanda said his father studied in Europe where he got one diploma and 6 degrees, but when he return to Kenya, surprising he was unable to find employment opportunities and decided to join politics.
My father was suffering from High Blood pressure amid harsh poverty,’he said.
He said their family is seriously struggling to raise money to meet funeral expenses, they managed to raise only KShs30,000 out of KShs130,000, we are therefore calling upon his politician friends and well-wishers to help us raise the funeral costs,’he added.
