Kenyan Woman Commits Suicide After Being Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

A Kenyan woman identified as Muthoni Purity, aged 40, from Naivasha, Kenya has committed suicide after she was diagnosed with breast cancer at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Muthoni has been undergoing treatment in several hospitals as soon as she realized that she had developed a growth on one of her breasts.

This Kenyan woman was diagnosed with breast cancer only when she visited Kenyatta National Hospital.

When she got to know her health condition, she went back to her elder sister’s place in Naivasha where she used to live.

The victim had to wait for her sister to go for place of work at a flower farm before committing suicide,

According to Naivasha OCPD, Mr Waweru Samuel, the woman hanged herself with a rope and body was finally driven to Naivasha Mortuary.

Her elder sister told Newslex Point Kenya that the victim received results from the doctors confirming that she had breast cancer and she became depressed before hanging herself.
