Kidnaps And Murders Will Soon Be History-Museveni Promises

President yoweri K. Museveni has promised Ugandans that the recent soaring kinaps and murders will soon come to an end.

Museveni: “The problem has been in investigations where police use old methods but these criminals are not strong. I want to assure you that we shall defeat this problem of urban crime like we did to other problem said security agencies will soon deal with it.

The president also accepted that kidnaps and murders are increasing in the country.

The acts of kidnapping and murdering are on its climax especially in Uganda’s capital Kampala and ladies are the most victims in these acts.

In March this year, Magara who was kidnapped was later murder and dumped alongside southern by-pass even after her parents paid a ransom of 700M.

And in the recent a student from YMCA who was kidnapped was also later murdered after her parents failed to pay a ransom of 1M that the kidnappers asked.
