I Want Machar Dead Or Alive, South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir Orders Military

The President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir (right) on Monday July 25th wrote a letter to the military ordering them to produce his deputy and now rival, Riek Machar, dead or alive.^[⁹^]

Riek who is rebel leader had led his forces to clash with those of President Salva in early July,^[⁴^] a situation that led to the death of over 300 people. Riek is currently on the run.^[²^]
