Man Arrested For Biting Genitals Of His 4-Months Old Son

A 23 year old man identified as Mwaluma Salim from Voi Taita-Taveta County in Southern Kenya has been apprehended on Tuesday afternoon for allegedly biting his 4 months old baby boy’s genitals.

Mwaluma was arrested after his wife identified as Martin Agatha alerted the police.

The suspect was arrested and charged with biting his baby boy’s penis, rib and right leg. The condition which led him commit such a heinous act remains unclear.

During his appearance before Magistrate Nyakundi Frederick, Mwaluma refused to acknowledge the allegations and he was released on bond of Shs50,000.

The case will be declared on 30th October and the hearing will take place the following day on 31st October 2019.

The mother of the baby said her husband went with the baby on Saturday for an afternoon walk, but returned with him later while the child was sleeping.

The following day on Sunday morning, the baby’s mother Ms Agatha awaken up as usual to make preparations for herself and the baby before proceeding for Sunday Church Service, but the husband demanded to bath the child, which according Agatha, was not a normal thing.

The baby started crying during the church service, the mother observed scratch mark on the baby’s neck, which forced her to quickly undress him.

I got scared seeing my child bleeding with bite marks almost everywhere including the thighs, back, neck and on his penis,’said the crying mother.

The suspect’s wife rushed the baby to the nearby healthcare facility before referring them to Moi Referral Hospital for a specialized care.

However, this dangerous man tried to convince the wife not to report the matter to the police, but village elders demanded that police should involve in this case by all means.
