Man Found With Human Skull Arrested In Wakiso

Police in Wakiso have arrested a man who has been evicting people in Mutumba village with a human skull. The suspect, identified as Alex Ssentongo, is a resident of Muyomba village in Wakiso sub-county, Wakiso district.

The Police arrested him on Monday (October 24) with a human skull he had wrapped in white clothes and jackets in his house.

Apparently, Mr. Ssentongo has been on the police radars because he had been evicting people from their ‘bibanja’. But according to the DPC of Wakiso police division, Ramadan Tai, Ssentongo has been living in hiding.

“We heard that he brought more thugs to terrorize the residents at night. I informed my men and we surrounded his home at midnight and we found when he was inside his house with some of them,” Tai said.

He also revealed that a few of the thugs managed to escape the police’s arrest but they arrested him. They also searched the house and found a human skeleton.

They also found a room in the house that contained bark clothes and many cultural-related items.

Ssentongo however denied having a gang of people who have been terrorizing the people of Muyomba.

A Muyomba resident who owns 20 acres of land and has tasted Ssentongo’s wrath thanked the police for the arrest.

“Ssentongo and his people took me to Police at Wakiso accusing me of trying to cut off an ear from one of their thugs. They detained me yet the time they were talking about I was out of Uganda. By the time I was released, I found when they had already constructed a house in my land,” the resident said.
