Man Who Killed Wife On Thursday Had Planned To Visit Her Parents This Weekend for Introduction Purposes

A 24 year old Kenyan man identified as Eric Mutugi who killed his wife on Thursday, 9th September, had planned to visit her parent’s home in Bungoma just this weekend, according to a family friend.

Mutugi murdered his wife in a hired car which they used on 9th for an outing together with their four month old baby.

After committing the heinous act, the Kenyan man took off to a nearby forest to hide, but he was smoked out by angry mob who later beat him to death.

After the death of both parents, their 4 months old baby was found sleeping in the car.

According to a family friend, the couple had planned to visit Mutugi’s wife’s home for the introduction purposes and her parent’s blessings

The visit would have served as both introduction and unveiling of the baby to the woman’s parents,” said the family friend.

The deputy commander for Thika East Muthee Nyaga said the law enforcers are just about to find out why the couple who gave birth to a baby four months ago went sour.

Police took the bodies of the spouses at General Kago Funeral Home in Thika.

In separate news story, the Kampala Metropolitan Police arrested a man who tried committing suicide after killing wife and housemaid in cold blood.

The community people found him in a bush fighting for his life after he allegedly took poison.

This family man was apparently attempting to rape their housemaid who made an alarm that attracted woke his wife, Ruth Nakkazi. Nakkazi, 40, woke up to see what was going on. Consequently, she found her husband trying to rape Scovia Abed, a 15-year-old girl.
