MasterCard And Samsung Are To Launch Samsung Pay In Europe

Samsung Pay is supposed to launch in U.S soon and began trials in South Korea earlier this month. Samsung that recently had a drop in its profits by 8%, said in a press release.

“We are currently working with banks and partners like MasterCard to take Samsung Pay to Europe,”

though it didn’t announce the day its consumers are to start seeing it in stores.

The two partners Samsung & MasterCard, who have been working together to take Samsung Pay to consumers and merchants around the world, announced on Friday that they will extend their partnership to launch the mobile payment system in Europe.

Smart phones with Samsung Pay will use MasterCard Digital Enablement service (MDES), the same system used by iPhone6 and Apple Watch. This is to enable contact less payments through NFC.

I think paypal will have to keep improving its services and expanding in more countries, otherwise samsung is also another huge company.
