Micheal Jordan Has Officially Become A Billionaire, According To Forbes

Micheal Jordan has become the first athlete billionaire and he has been able to beat to the top via cash. In June last year, Forbes estimated that the former athlete and basket ball king, the 52 years has joined the ranks of billionaires and that was after increasing his stake in the charlotte Hornets.

This is a company were he purchased the majority of interest for $275 million, and that was 2010 in march, initially his percentage in Charlotte Hornets was 80%, then after he purchased more and reached 89.5%, just of recent the magazine said Micheal Jordan is one of the world’s 290 new billionaires.

Micheal Jordan is the most famous and popular on billionaire’s list today, he is the greatest basketball player of all time, and he is incontestably the best paid athlete of all time. Much of his money comes from Nike payouts on his paradoxical brand, in 2013, the Jordan brand earned approximately $2.25 billion. However his stake in Charlotte Hornets is greater than $500 million and that is his most valuable asset.
