Mixed Reactions As Uganda Confirms 4th Covid-19 Death

Health Ministry in Uganda has today registered one more covid-19 death bringing the total number of four. The deceased is a 61 year old Uganda female, a local of Kiyimbi zone Nakulabye in Kampala.

She had symptoms consistent to coronavirus which include fever, cough, chest pain and difficulty in breathing and went to Mengo Hospital for treatment on Wednesday 29^th July 2020 before being refereed to Mulago Hospital on 30^th July 2020, where she was admitted and her samples taken off. Unfortunately she died Yesterday. May her soul rest in peace.

Results of COVID-19 tests done on 31 July 2020 confirm 22 new cases. The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans to-date is 1,176.

‘If you were patriotic you would have resigned from Power For the last 3months we’ve not been registering any death case but when you announced the 1st case the number is raising day and night what has happened to the treatment you have been using???? ‘Surprisingly for 4 months we were in total lockdown you reported cases from the boarder districts how comes Kampala people are the one dying. A special komanyoko to you all,’Cae commented.

‘You have started what was taking place in DRC all adults Ugandan’s aged after dying natural death must be tested before the corpse being buried, but you are disturbing the soul of Dead,’Pierre commented.

‘Fellow Ugandans it’s time to wake up your life your health you may laugh but covid is real and it’s claiming people we better act when it’s still early and we follow the precautions otherwise it’s not good for Us,’Locus commented.

‘You are reporting only for covid, How many mothers are dying per day during labour, How many Ugandans are dying of starvation per day, How many Ugandans are losing lives to accidents per day due to weak traffic patrol, How many Ugandans dying per day coz of poor water. Shameless,’Yared commented.

‘But what went wrong with the MoH.. we were in lockdown for three months, how did the virus spread to the community so fast like this. We would be in million now if there was mass testing. Allowing the truck drivers to enter the country was the mistake we made and now we have to pay the price. Ugandans be vigilant.. the Virus is real and now we know that it kills both the young and the old. Let us follow SOPs,’Moses commented.
