The Ugandan president, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni says he’s very excited to ride on Madaraka Express from Mombasa to Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.

Uganda’s head of State who arrived in Kenya on Wednesday on a 2 day visit on Uhuru Kenyatta’s invitation will make 441 kilometre journey on Thursday.
Both leaders later on addressed a press conference and were also likely to make a tour on the port of Mombasa.
His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta has given me honour of being the 1st president to ride on the new railway known as Madaraka Express. I will therefore save it in my album and show it to the people of Uganda,’’Museveni said.
The new railway is expected to connect Mombasa to Kampala through Malaba border.
