Ruparelia Group Joins Job Recruitment Sector

The Ruparelia Group owned by city property mogul Sudhir Ruparelia has joined the lucrative external job recruitment business with a promise to send out thousands of job seeking Ugandans into a secure World place of work especially the Middle East we have reliably established.

The remark was last week made by Rajiv Ruparelia the managing director of the Ruparelia Group during an exclusive interview with our reporter in Kampala who explained that they have responded to the many cries by many Ugandans who have been cheated by some unfaithful persons while others unfortunately suffered gross acts of injustices.

‘’We are responding to calls by thousands of our young people who claim to have got a raw deal while attempting to travel abroad and do some jobs’’ noted Rajiv adding that their new company Premier Recruitment located inside the Crane Chambers has worked out a clear plan of addressing the needs of these people.

‘’Premier Recruitment is a recently incorporated human resource consultancy firm in Kampala under the Ruparelia Group with    a core service to recruit and send out to the Middle East countries young energetic people to work under a very secure environment both legally and economically acceptable standards’’ he observed.

Rajiv said that they are looking out to recruit in the sectors like security, drivers, hospitality, accounts, finance. Sales, legal, construction and energy among others so that an opportunity can be extended to these people to work abroad in a better and secure environment free of abuse to their fundamental human rights and a better pay package.

He commended the government for recently coming up to arrest the detoriating environment for these people working abroad and promising to network with those respective governments in ensuring that their security. And wellbeing is given outmost priority.

However,in a related comment Gender labour and social development minister Hajjat Janat Mukwaya welcomed Premier Recruitment agency into the market saying she was confident that it will offer the best package to the Ugandan youths.

‘’We have been looking for good companies that can be sincere to our potential youth aspiring to travel abroad for kyeyo but some of them had disappointed us by way of cheating their clients or just dumping them into a hostile environment from where they got exposed to all forms of injustices; lamented the Minister.

Mukwaya pointed out that the government through various ministries and agencies have had a good track record with the Ruparelia group because they pay huge taxes to government alongside creating thousands of our people saying she was optimistic that the new firm shall   deliver the goods for the good of the youth intending to seek a greener pasture abroad.

She pointed out that her ministry had effectively sorted out these agencies claiming to take people abroad after manyemerging disturbing reports indicated that many have been tortured or killed saying it is the responsibility of government top protect them at all times because they too deserve a better living.

‘’A total of close to 140 agencies were recently carefully vetted and given authority to recruit and send our young people abroad to do kyeyo but with strong caution that they work in a good conducive environment with good pay while at the same time hundreds miore agencies kicked out for being outright fakes’’ noted minister Mukwaya.

Trade Minister Amelia Kyambadde said governmentwould continue to collectcallosal amounts of foreign income courtesy of these young people moving out to work abroad like in the Middle East, SouthAfrica, Europe among other countries and that it was incumbent upon government to ensure that they are given security at all times.

‘’We have heard issues with some of the people especially in the Arab World for harassing and sometimes killing our young people but we appeal to the government to ensure that the protocol for sending out these people is clear and that someone somewhere is held accountable for these people’’she noted.
