Slay Queen Arrested For Stealing Newborn Baby, Says She Wanted To Take Photo With Baby And Send To Boyfriend

A Zambian slay queen was recently arrested for going an extra mile to apparently save her romantic relationship. They say love makes people do crazy things, well, maybe. But then, what happens if these crazy things are a bit too extreme. For example, in the case of Christine Tembo who went even further to steal an infant.

Now, while some try whatever they can and use honesty to achieve their goals, others usually lie. Perhaps they do this just to satisfy their sadistic needs.

NEWSLEXPOINT.com has learnt that Zambian Police recently arrested a 24-year-old woman identified as Christine Tembo for stealing a baby from the country’s Kafue General Hospital maternity ward.

Whilst some people wanted to extend mercy to Tembo, many did not. This came after she disclosed that she stole the baby because she wanted to take a picture. Apparently, she wanted to send it to her boyfriend whom she had lied to that she was expecting.

Zambian police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said that they arrested Tembo for the offense of child theft. He added that she is currently in custody.

“The incident occurred on October 21 2021, at around 17:30 hours at Kafue General Hospital Maternity ward. The suspect went to the maternity ward where she got the baby belonging to Mildred Munyama, 23 of an unknown house number in Shimabala West. The suspect was later apprehended by Hospital staff and upon being interviewed she revealed that the motive behind stealing the baby was to take a picture of the baby and send it to her boyfriend whom she had told that she was expecting and now with a baby,” Rae said.
