Spice Diana was also to be in the company of Barbie Kyagulanyi wife to NUP’s president Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.
According to Spice Diana, her visa application failed to come through on time. This hindered her ability to travel and perform.
She proceeded to extend her apologies to all those that were eagerly awaiting for her performance world over. She however extended a message of solidarity to the Girl Child Movement.
“To my UK fans and the world over….!! I’m very heartbroken and disappointed to be the bearer of bad news to my endearing fans of the UK. As planned and scheduled earlier, I, Spice Diana would embrace the Empower The Girl Child concert slated for 14th May 2022 for a special performance. This is in unity with my sister Barbie Kyagulanyi, my visa application failed to come through on time which translates into my failure to travel to the UK and perform.
I would like to extend my deepest apologies to everyone who was waiting on me not just from the UK but the world over as well who would make time to catch the live show online.
To the Girl Child Team, I am with you in spirit and I hope that next time all shall be in due time for a better tomorrow for the Girl Child Movement.
With lots of love, Spice Diana,” she said in a Facebook post.
However, some of her followers blasted her for her having confirmed a concert yet she knew she hadn’t yet secured the visa.
They told her that an embassy more so a UK one is not like a district headquarter where she just walks into and exits with the travel requirements.
Meanwhile, Barbie is already in the UK for this conference where she is one of the guest speakers. This is a youth and women empowerment conference.
It will focuss on topics such as domestic violence, unwanted pregnancies, STDs, mental health among others.
