Stop Fighting Your Concubine’s Wars – David Kabanda To Makindye Division Town Clerk

The MP for Kasambya County, Hon David Kabanda has come out to caution the town clerk of Makindye Division to stop fighting the wars of his concubine.

According to Hon Kabanda, Rwakabale Geofrey should stop being used by some brown state Minister from Busoga to fight his wars.

Kabanda wonders how the marriage of the Speaker of Parliament Hon Anita Among and FUFA president Eng Moses Magogo concerns him.

“Clerk Makindye Mr Rwakabaale Geoffrey, your concubine the brown State Minister from Busoga shouldn’t use you to fight proxy wars. How does Rt Hon. Anita Among’s relationship/marriage concern you. Oyihireho ekishuba,” said Kabanda.

A notice from the Makindye Division Urban Council addressed to the Registrar of Marriages at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau annulled the marriage of the two.

Rwakabaale said that he discovered a lot of errors and omissions in the marriage certificate of the two. He had cleared this marriage under duress and therefore was informing URSB that he had rescinded and withdrawn the marriage certificate of the pair.

“Please refer to my letter reference no MKD/KCCA/1308/06 dated 15th August 2022 on the registration of the customary marriage of Magogo Moses Hashim and Among Anita Annet. I have discovered glaring omissions and errors occasioned to me as a consequence of duress while processing this matter.

The purpose of this communication is to therefore recede and withdraw the registration and to inform you that I have formally deleted the couple from the Division Customary Marriage Registrar,” the letter from Rwakabale Geofrey the town clerk partly read.

A look through the brown state ministers zeroes down to the State Minister for Housing, Persis Namuganza. She’s also the MP for Bukono County in Namutumba district. Its however not clear if she’s the one Hon Kabanda was referring to.
