Marion is a teacher at Kitaka Primary School, Kanyabwanga sub-county in Mitooma district.
Marion Tukamuhebwa is allegedly a resident of Kako Village, Ijumo parish, Mitooma sub-county in Mitooma district connived with Olivia Nanyonga, 45, a resident of Kyenzaza Village. They promised Ugx 4M to an unknown person to take off Asumpta’s life on her way to pick her children from school.
Reports say the person received a down payment of Ugx 2 million and said he would receive the balance after finishing the job.
Fortunately and unfortunately, the dealer opened up and revealed the deal to Nimureeba. She immediately reported the case to Bushenyi Central Police station.
The duo was charged by the High Court in Bushenyi with a case of threatening violence. And a conspiracy to commit a crime under section 1(a) of the penal code act 390.
While appearing in court, Tukamuhebwa and Nanyonga denied the charges. They then asked for bail since they have children below 5 years who still need parental care.
Court granted them bail with a condition that they report back there on 13th, April 2022.
This is for further hearing of their case. Additionally, court slapped each of them with a Ugx 5M non-cash in fulfillment of bail terms.
