When we talk about socialites, we mean people who are well-known in fashionable society. In Uganda today, we’ve got many of them, but we managed to pick out a few who are sounding more than the rest. These few that we’ve researched on managed to show Ugandans that money is not a problem to them.

1). Bryan White Kirumira

Kirumira is a 33 year old Ugandan who has spent part of his youthful life in Italy. He studied his primary school at Mityana public School, after he joined Central college school for his secondary before joining Makerere University for his bachelor’s degree and he only studied just the first semester. His big sister, Sarah Nakakande asked him to go and help her manage her businesses in Italy.

Kirumira says he has several businesses, but he only mentioned one and that is Real Estate dealer were he buys old houses, renovates them and finally sells them at high price. He has also helped so many struggling Ugandans living below poverty line to meet their needs through his foundation known as Bryan White Foundation. The 33 year old is also setting up a Juice Manufacturing factory aswell as setting up a Tile manufacturing company both to be in Kapeeka, according to Ghafla Uganda.

2). SK Mbuga

Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga commonly known as SK Mbuga is one of the socialites and popular city tycoon in Uganda. Just of recent, he ventured in to bus transport which he named after his daughter, princess Ayla Mbuga. He bought a fleet of wonderful buses and in there continental operations will go as far as Zambia. His way of spending is a bit different from other socialites, this is the guy who decided to invest his money in building estates in some parts of Kampala. The tycoon has some of the best cars in the world ranging from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aventador and Rolls Royce.

3). Zarinah Hassan

The boss lady populary known as Zari is one of the socialites not only in Uganda, but all over East Africa. Zari was the wife to the former socialite known as Ivan Ssemwanga and also the former wife to the Tanzanian music artist, Diamond Platnumz. She inherited her former husband’s wealth in South Africa which includes Brooklyn colleges which have six branches across several cities such as Pretoria, Durban and Johannesburg. The South African projects alone generates over Shs500 Million profits per month.

4). Jack Pemba

Jackson Akim Pemba commonly known as Jack Pemba is one of the socialites and philanthropists in Uganda. Jack is well-known for his generosity towards the youth, he always supports the young talents through his project called Pemba Sports Africa. He’s reportedly going to launch his oil and gas company known as Pemba Gas. He managed to set up a logistics and Freight Company in Dubai called JP Logistics for shipping goods globally, according to matooke republic

5). Robert Okello

Okello Robert commonly known as Sipapa is among the socialites in Uganda. Sipapa has an entertainment company called Sipapa Entertainment and Sipapa records which is wide open to all young and established artists who would like to record songs at a cheaper price.
