Shocking: Tornado Struck Lake Bunyonyi

The locals of Kabale District neighboring Lake Bunyonyi on Monday observed a rare circumstance when a low pressured cyclonic storm from the sky formed into the lake.

Many people were shocked as soon as they saw the funnel-shaped white smoky storm which covered the skies for almost an hour.

The occurrence comes as a result of atmospheric disruption around averaged pressured area. It is normally followed by harsh storms and bad weather conditions, according to scientists.

Some people begun sharing pictures and videos of the incident on social media platforms by Monday evening.

Mr Banyenzaki Moses who owns an engine boat on one of the landing sites around indicated that the incident happened after a heavy storm and lightning accompanied by thunderstorms hit the area on Monday evening.
