Ugandans And Nigerians Steal Billions From UAE Banks

Following the recent announcement made by the UAE government black listing Ugandans and Nigerians on grounds of being crooks and con artists, UAE government announced a visa ban with immediate effect from October 18, 2022.

All Ugandans  with other 20 other nationalities from Africa Nigeria, Rwanda, Benin, Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leon, Comoros,Sudan, Cameroon,Liberia, Guinea, Gambia, Togo, Senegal, Dominican Republic, Ivory Coast, Congo, Bukina Faso, Burundi And Gambia will not be granted 30 day visa till further notice.

“Any applications from the above mentioned countries will be sent back or cancelled ,” the source told Newslex Point platform.

Information coming to Newslex Point indicate that racket of Ugandans and Nigerians had conned banks in the United Arab Emirates billions of dirhams in Forms of loans.

The conmen lure unsuspecting Africans mainly Ugandans and Nigerians into UAE with promises of well paying jobs when the Africans reach the UAE.

However once they reach they are locked up in houses and their phones and passports confiscated. The conmen later proceed processing UAE identity cards for them till the documentation is ready.

They open accounts in different banks

Once everything is set, they force their victims to make short journey’s to the banks and open three or  four bank accounts in separate banks for the victims. When the accounts are open and active the victims are locked up again and the conmen further take up full charge of these accounts operating under companies registered in the UAE to qualify for huge loans.

They apply for loans after six months and once the application is successful, the account holder is escorted to the bank to sign off on the loan. They take up loans and share the money and either repatriate or kill the victims who signed off on the loan, a source who paternal auntie is part of the thieving gang told Newslex Point platform when interviewed.

However In case you are not killed they warn you never to set foot in the UAE  a close source further stated.

Newslex Point has established that there are many Ugandans conniving with Nigerians who ran a racket rogue labour recruitment company promising victims well paying jobs in the middle eastern countries.

The platform also learnt that there is an unrevealed employee at Zeking cargo services who works with the thugs to fleece banks of money through loans. He is responsible for printing appointment letters and employment contracts.
