Although there has been some linkage in examination due to examination malpractices, Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB) Executive Secretary Dan Odongo says this will be effectively controlled.
Briefing the media ahead of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education Exams that kicks off on Monday 11th,Odongo said they have deployed 800 scouts to control any form examination malpractice.
“My objective is to instill integrity and security in the management of exams as my soul responsibility. Its on this ground that I have deployed 800 scouts comprising of police officers to over see exams,” Odongo said.
About 1,982 students registered in various centres compared to 1,815 the previous year.
” UNEB will continue to put measures in place to ensure smooth conduct of exams. I appeal to heads of centres, teachers and invigilators to be professional and desist from any form of Examination malpractice,”he warned.
