Victoria University In International Cultural Gala

Victoria University fast rising Private University owned by City tycoon Dr. Sudhir  Ruparelia is holding  an international cultural gala this Saturday.

The event will be held under the theme: Diversity of Victoria University culture as one.

Victoria University Marketing Manager Pamella Magino says the event is being held to recognize students community  various cultures and  showcase students  musical and dance talents.

The event is being organised by the students dean and the University marketing department

“As University, we are living in global village. Cross pollination of knowledge and culture is essence of the university, ”

She said.

Victoria University has students community coming  from 15 countries namely South Sudan, Nigeria,DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, India, Eriteria, Somalia, Egypt, Uganda Tanzania,Kenya and Norway

Magino explained that students will exhibit  traditional food, dance, drinks and speech presentation in national language.

Judges for the competition will be  Dean of  Health Sciences along side Vice Chancellor Dr.Sharma Krishna.

Other delegates expected at the event include  heads of missions and commercial attachees from 15 countries.

Last year’s edition of international cultural day was won by Ghana taking home special awards in category of best food,dance and speech performance followed by Eritrea.
