Why Swangz Avenue Issued Disciplinary Warning Letter To Winnie Nwagi

A couple of days ago, some reports went viral over the internet indicating that the Ugandan singer Winnie Nakanwagi popularly known as Winnie Nwagi reportedly amassed a debt of Shillings one million at a local restaurant and never wanted to clear it off.

She went back to the same restaurant and made another order amounting to over Ush360,000. It was declined immediately which led to a fight with the restaurant owner.

News that reached our desk this morning indicates that Winnie Nwagi has been issued a disciplinary warning letter from her bosses at Swangz Avenue Record Lebel.

Swangz Avenue bosses are this time around willing to terminate the ‘Bunsonsomola’ Hit maker’s contract if she continues getting into trouble. This is because the record label care more about their reputation but not being overshadowed by disgrace. They are now dealing with corporate entities.

The singer has been involved into several scandals. In 2019, she was summoned by police to answer charges of assault and torture. Winnie Nwagi was reported at Kikaaya police station by her then housemaid identified as Nalwoga Scovia who was undergoing medical treatment at a healthcare centre in Kampala.

Nalwoga told police that the singer beat her simply because she had borrowed her boss’s water bottle without permission.

In similar news story previously reported by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, Frank Gashumba disciplined his daughter turned socialite Sheila Gashumba a former NTV presenter by a thorough beating, which left her with a massively bruised body and in a state of calling for medication.

It’s believed that Frank Gashumba accused his daughter of surrounding herself with bad groups, coming home late in the night and suspecting her of doing narcotics.
